Winter Weather Update for Montgomery County
Status Update from the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management

MONTGOMERY COUNTY – The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management has four warming centers prepped and ready to receive citizens.

The warming center locations are as follows:

OverUnder Church
600 S. Frazier St. Conroe, TX 77301

Lone Star Convention Center
9055 Airport Rd. Conroe, TX 77303

Church Project
602 Pruitt Rd. The Woodlands, TX 77380

Madeley Ranch Elementary
3500 Madeley Ranch Rd. Montgomery, TX 77356

The temps will be very cold through the day and again tonight. Take steps NOW to insulate your home. Reduce heat loss by covering windows and door thresholds with towels, blankets or plastic. NEVER use a stove, oven or grill to heat your home. Carbon Monoxide poisoning is a real threat!

Also be aware of Carbon Monoxide poisoning:
✔️Do NOT leave vehicle idling in the garage
✔️Do not use an unsafe heating device indoors
✔️Place generators outdoors & away from windows
