Tomorrow is the Last Day for FMA Buyouts
Status Update from the Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management
The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management is working to secure additional funding through the Flood Mitigation Assistance grant program for home buyouts. Severe Repetitive Loss (SRL) properties are being targeted at this time. If you have received a call from Hagerty Consulting in reference to your property, please responds quickly if you are interested in participating. If you feel that you meet all of the eligibility requirements listed below and would like to participate please call 346-237-9828 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. If you are submitting paperwork be sure to include photographs of your homes exterior- 2 photos of each side with at least one full front view of the home.
Tomorrow, November 20th is the FINAL day to submit applications
Eligibility components for this program are:
Severe Repetitive Loss Properties – according to FEMA
Must have and maintain a current NFIP flood policy on the property
The Montgomery County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management will continue to monitor the upcoming recovery conditions, and provide updates as statuses change.
