TROPICAL SYSTEM UPDATE
For Immediate Release- September 12, 2018
The tropical system remains relatively weak as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico. The National Weather Service estimates that there is a 70% chance of tropical depression or storm development over the next 48 hours. The system is still expected to reach the lower to mid Texas coast on Friday. We will have periods of rain through Saturday and the system should clear out on Sunday.
